Jim Mackenzie

Jim is an innovative, strategic, result focussed leader with inclusive management style and demonstrable success over 25 years predominantly in the IT and Health industries. He has worked across varied organisations from non-for-profit to global corporate giants. Jim has achieved major organisational change and beneficial business outcomes through the application of strong leadership, negotiation, influencing, problem solving, process improvement and people management skills.

Jim not only holds the ITIL V3 Expert certification but is also a Six Sigma Black Belt, Prince2 practitioner and Quality Lead Assessor. He has in-depth experience in integrated quality management system development, deployment and certification including ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000 and AS/NZS4801.

He has added value to organisations such as BHBP, Rio Tinto, CSC, AMP, GE and government agencies. His application of best practice frameworks, process improvement, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), business excellence and quality management methodologies has improved client satisfaction and recognised significant cost savings. In a large Australian out-sourcing organisation Jim was able to realise savings of over $9M in a 3-year period through the development and deployment of Six Sigma and associated cost reduction, problem resolution and risk mitigation activities.

He is passionate about achieving business benefit and growth for his clients and assisting them to become more productive and effective through process improvement, reducing waste and solving chronic business problems.
