Macanta wins best stand at itSMF Australia National Conference26/08/10

Macanta was proud to receive the accolade for best stand at the itSMF Australia Conference 2010. Macanta was launching the new innovative service eco-ITSM. eco-ITSM embeds sustainability into every one of the service management processes across the entire service lifecycle. In order to support the sustainability message, Macanta off-set all carbon emissions generated from their presence at the conference including equipment, power, paper, etc. The only give-away was a set of pens and pencils that were made from 100% recycled timber and newspaper. Macanta invested the money otherwise spent on giveaways that would have had an adverse environmental impact on a eco-resort holiday valued at over $1600. The lucky winner of the holiday was David Efron from Simplot. Congratulations David!
